The Tour is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us. It is required that a parents/legal guardian making the primary decision for the child to attend the Tour, as well as the child/children you are interested in enrolling. Siblings and grandparents may join too.
First, Devour the Acton Academy website, especially the Learning Design and the FAQ pages. You can pour through the blog of Laura Sandefer, the co-founder of the original Acton Academy.
Best place to start is by reading Laura’s “Courage to Grow.” It is essential to understanding how an Acton Academy operates process. You should also watch Jeff Sandefer’s TEDx talk.If we feel your family is a good fit, we will reach out to you about scheduling a tour of our campus. We have limited space and want to make sure we offer tours to families who are serious about enrolling at Acton.
